I'm thrilled to pull back the curtain on a recent project for a fantastic local business and a pillar of the Cortez real estate community: MonDo Title Co., Inc.
This project was a perfect example of how a strategic digital modernization can do more than just give a business a "new look"—it can fundamentally improve how they serve their clients online and streamline their operations.
The Starting Point: A Great Company, An Outdated Digital Handshake
Like many established local businesses, MonDo Title had a website that was built on older, proprietary technology. It had served its purpose for years, but it no longer reflected the company's high level of professionalism. The site was slow, difficult to navigate on mobile devices, and the valuable information they offered was scattered across more than a dozen different pages. For a home buyer or real estate agent looking for clear answers, the experience was fragmented and frustrating.
The Solution: A Strategic Rebuild and a Meticulous Go-Live
Instead of a simple redesign, we focused on a complete rebuild from the ground up on a modern, fast, and secure stack using Eleventy and Cloudflare Pages. But the real work came during the launch. Migrating a live business domain with active email services requires careful planning.
We successfully navigated a complex DNS and SSL setup—including ensuring their Microsoft 365 email had zero downtime—and resolved a series of tricky redirect loops and certificate errors that are common in such migrations. We also implemented a modern, serverless form solution using Formspree and squashed a number of subtle CSS and user experience bugs to ensure the final product was polished and professional from day one.
The result is a lightning-fast, intuitive, and mobile-first website that truly serves their clients and reinforces their position as a local industry leader. It was a fantastic project, and I'm proud of the result.
